I'm using sftpclient for Ubuntu. I installed it using apt and the appropriate .deb without a problem. Eventually, it asked me to upgrade. I used apt to remove the sftpclient package. This also removed two lib files (libnss-mdns:i386 and another with a 7 in it which I cannot remember the name of).
Then, I installed the snap pack of sftpclient. Everything seemed to work fine. It imported all my connections, and it would log on to the server. However, no, when I try to browse remote folders, it just says "Error: Unable to read from: /"
I've tried this on two different servers and 3 accounts. Same problem on all.
It also gets the following error when connecting "Error Can't check for file existance"
What's happen? I liked my old version, but this version is unusable.
I deleted the snap pack and installed the .deb. Same problem. How do I get sftpclient working again?
