Welcome to our brand new community forums.
Before posting on our community forums
Please consider what it is you need help with first
Email our support, when you need help with:
- Billing / Payment enquiries
- Require an invoice
- Issue with your license or didn't receive one
- Have pre-sale questions
- Concerned about your account
You can also discuss some of the above with our live chat too.
Found a bug? you can post your findings here:
Found a security issue? you can send this to:
Secondly take into consideration the following before posting:
Always update to the latest version
Your problem may already be fixed in the most recent version.
Search for your issue or query
You can search our community forums or our help documentation to find what you're looking for as it may already be explained or brought to our attention.
How to post on our community forums
Post in the correct category
Select the correct category to post your query, and only post once, if you have multiple issues please post your query in each of there relevant categories.
Useful titles can in return help you
When posting your query, please ensure you use descriptive titles, i.e. "Unable to connect to SSH (port 22) with public key on v3.3.0", instead of "HELP ME!!!". By using a descriptive title others can see what your query relates too and can better help you, others are unlikely to read your post if your title is unhelpful.
Information is key
Be as descriptive as possible in your post, think about:
- Steps you took (help others to replicate your issue)
- Describe your issue as much as you can (so others can also find what you're describing)
- Add some screenshots (optional) and annotate (if needed)
- Add a video screen recording (optional)
Answer your own post
If you found the answer to your issue or query, or contacted sFTP App and have your answer, please respond to your own post to let others know its resolved. This is very important, to avoid others wasting there time on an already resolved query, or if others have the same query / issue as you, this will help them too.
Stay on topic
If your query / issue has been resolved and this leads to another query or issue or you just have another query or issue you'd like to be resolved, please do not continue this on your previous post. You risk the post having conflicting information, multiple resolutions, or your additional query not being responded too.
Have good manners and please be patient
Respect all community forum members (including the sFTP App staff members). When posting new topics or comments please use appropriate language, "treat others how you want to be treated".
Anyone being abusive risk their sFTP App account being suspended.
